AI, Big Data, and Machine Learning Will Revolutionize the Practice of Law (Part 1)
Big changes are coming. But what does this mean? Exactly how will this affect us?
Predicting the future is challenging, but in a TED Talk-style presentation at the 2017 LMATech Midwest conference, I had the chance to make some projections. The introduction described how different a typical doctor’s visit could be if the physician were making (1) a traditional “experiential” diagnosis compared to (2) the type of data-driven analysis that could be possible in the future using powerful predictive technology like IBM’s Watson.
The analogy from Medicine to Law is obvious. And I’ll cover more of that next week, in Part Two of the video.
