Good-bye Georganne! Enjoy Retirement!
One of my all-time favorite Administrators is retiring this week — Shefsky & Froelich’s Georganne Binnie. She’s been at the firm 15 years.
I’ve worked with Georganne many times over many years, and she’s everything a law firm administrator or executive director should be — smart, creative, practical, tough yet flexible. Selfless and modest, a strong leader as well as an effective team member.
She always knew how to get things done, even in the challenging environment of a professional-services firm.
I just spoke with her, and here’s what she had to say:
“All I can say is that I have worked my entire life and have been blessed to be one of those people who enjoyed it — given an occasional ‘off’ day every now and then — so I will miss it. Life is what you make it, and I’m determined to make Phase II interesting, relevant, creative, exciting, challenging, and rewarding and — perhaps most of all — personally satisfying. I’ll be looking to re-ignite my passion and get involved with something I can pour both my head and my heart into … so anybody out there who has suggestions for me, I’ll consider each one!”
Maybe you could shoot Georganne a quick email if you have a free second this week.
She’ll be at georgannebinnie@gmail.com.
We’ll miss you, Georganne! Good luck with “Phase II.”
