OBJECTIVE:

Focus the message and build a brand for Duff & Phelps’ Disputes and Investigations group.

BACKGROUND:

Duff & Phelps is one of the world’s largest financial consulting firms, with 2,000 employees worldwide; it’s the world’s leading valuation firm.

Fishman Marketing was asked to develop a message for the remarkable D&I and Valuation and Financial Consulting groups.  The Duff professionals analyze disputes and run the numbers, analyzing the strengths and weaknesses, calculating damages, and testify in depositions or court cases, often in renowned matters like the Bernie Madoff case or Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns bankruptcy and fraud cases.

Our targets were partners at large law firms and senior executives at major corporations.

In a big complex financial cases, the best expert wins.

“Best” means they tell the clearest, most-compelling story. They simplify the complexity. They find the simplest narrative that explains convoluted calculations so it makes sense to the average juror who got a C- in high school algebra, or the judge with a PoliSci degree from a city school.
